Subcontracting procedure

Following the COVID-19 crisis and the disruption of the supply chain from China, many companies want to increase the proportion of their purchases in closer European countries.

As a result, the sourcing of suppliers in the machine building, metallurgy and machining industry in Eastern European countries becomes obvious. The main motivation of the companies is competitiveness and therefore the search for the best cost, the best quality and the best delivery time has become a necessity.

We note today, following the requests, we receive, that buyers from Western European countries are very active in particular in Bulgaria. The process of optimizing purchases in these countries is not necessarily obvious, even if you can find potential suppliers through the Internet and search engines, exhibitions or national chambers of commerce.

Selecting the right supplier can be a challenge, the process can be long and the validation of a new subcontractor remains a laborious, sometimes costly but above all a difficult process.

Establishing a long-term cooperation is uncertain because of existing essential linguistic and cultural differences, which leads often to misunderstandings and very short term collaboration.
